Hey yall,
I know this is the best time of year to get local oysters. I love the "local" clusters that have that salty kick. My family tradition is to prepare the before the Thanksgiving meal. Does anyone recommend the cheapest place for me to get good local oysters, they seem to be getting more expensive?

I would say, if you have time take a trip to McClellanville at the dock, they are typically around $20. In Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, typically you will pay $24-26. I also like a place in Georgtown called Poston's, they sell them washed, ready to go. I am eager to get some myself this year!!

Local Oyster season is ending soon over the next 30 days or so.

Bulls Bay Seafood Enterprises has salty oyster bushels for $20 and delicious Farm raised Clams - 200 count for $38.

Go see Jeff and his family in McClellanville at 631 Morrison St. McClellanville Sc 29458.   Or Call to reserve orders at 843 887 3519
